Rainbow Socks at San Francisco City Hall

Ken and Pat loved the architecture of this great venue and we made sure to capture it for them. We often ask our couples to tell us the types of photos they would like at City Hall. To be a successful San Francisco City Hall wedding photographer, it’s important to listen to your clients and incorporate their preferences. This LGBTQ couple were very fun to work with and gave us a good amount of detail about their wishes. This wedding also happened to be among the first Same-Sex weddings that occurred at SF City Hall after California legalized civil unions for the LGBTQ community. Similar to many of our couples photographed at that time, Ken and Pat had already been in a committed relationship for some time, but finally were able to make it legal! We were honored to be involved in a large number of Gay weddings with many couples that had been together for over 20 years. Love the rainbow socks!
