In this wedding photo of the couple at the base of the grand staircase at City Hall the bride is positioned to show off her beautiful veil. We pose the couple together, and then ask the groom to bend back the bride just enough so the veil falls slightly away from the back of her dress and flows down towards the floor. Luckily were able to capture this photo with a little bit of work because it was quite crowded at City Hall on this particular day. I politely asked some of the tourists that were on the stairs to please step to the side for a brief moment, and they did! It is always nice when people are willing to move out of the photo to allows us to capture great pictures on the Grand Staircase. All San Francisco city hall wedding photographers face this challenge on a daily basis. There is only one Staircase and of course everyone want to take pictures there. Since city hall is a public building, we need to be aware of this and allow everyone their chance to get pictures.
